Both his dead father, Hattori Ryouichi (服部良一), and Katsuhisa are famous leading song composers as well as arrangers in Japan.
Unfortunately, for some (apparent)reason, the screen is too dark, and Tanimura's voice is too small, against the real scene.

昴 (Subaru)was released in 1980 in Japan.
Subaru, meaning Sterope, as one of stars of Taurus (perhaps the meaning of the title is not specifically explained at other sites than this), was composed and written, and sung by 谷村新司 (Tanimura Shin-ji) himself.
He has also been acting as a bridge of songs between Japan and Asian countries including China, as is known.
