París (Francia), 13 feb (EFE TV).- La próxima edición de rally Dakar se disputará entre el 3 y el 18 de enero de 2009 en Argentina y Chile, según anunciaron los organizadores de la célebre carrera.
El Dakar partirá de Buenos Aires, tendrá quince días de competición y volverá a acabar en la capital argentina el 18 de enero, tras haber recorrido unos 9.000 kilómetros, 6.000 de los cuales serán cronometrados.
Los competidores se dirigirán al sur de Argentina para adentrarse en la Patagonia, atravesarán la frontera con Chile en busca del desierto de Atacama, pasarán por playas chilenas y zonas boscosas y volverán a Buenos Aires. En total, disputarán nueve o diez etapas en Argentina y cinco en Chile.

Alle DAF TorboTwin`s hatten zwei Motoren mit je 500-600PS und Turbolader (pro Achse ein Motor).
