Dennis is the dad to brand new twins; a baby girl and a baby boy. Any photos? Dennis has them loaded up on his iPhone. We take a look. Ooops, that's a photo of his dog! Dave exclaims, "She looks like you!" We then see the photos of the adorable twins, Thomas and Zoe. Soon after they were born, though, they had a horrific experience when the twins were given too much of a medication which resulted in the twins being place in intensive care for 11 days. I read about it when it happened and can't imagine what he and his wife must have gone through. But all is fine now and the children are the picture of health.
From one crisis to another, Dennis's son turned 15 and is learning how to drive. Yipes. My twin girls are 12 and are 3-and-a-half years away from hopping behind the wheel. Dave asks Dennis, "How's that going?" Dennis sighs and says, "How do you think that is?"
I haven't given much thought of my girls driving yet, but I know it's right around the corner. At first I thought of getting them a used mini-Cooper, but now I'm thinking a huge Hummer might be better. When I bought my Honda Civic 5 years ago, I told the girls, "Here it is, girls, your first car!" They complained that it would be 10 years old when they learned how to drive they didn't want a 10-year-old car as their first car. They said something about a convertible. I remember all I wanted for a car was one that stopped, started, and turned.

Hello, I'm Rebecca Field with today's UPI entertainment news update on this Wednesday, the 5 of December 2007.
Dennis Quaid and his wife Kimberly are taking legal action against the manufacturer of the drug Heparin. The pair are apparently suing the company after their twin babies became seriously ill from an overdose of the drug. They're reportedly seeking more than 50,000 dollars in damages, alleging the manufacturer did not properly label the doses. That resulted in the hospital giving the twins too much of the medicine. Luckily both children are fully recovered now.
Actress Jill Hennessy will now have to handle 3 men in her family. People magazine says the actress and her husband Paolo Mastropietro have welcomed a baby boy named Gianni. They also have a four year old son named Marco.
Amy Winehouse's rep is explaining some of her recent behavior. Winehouse's rep responded to a photo taken of her walking around outside in only a bra and jeans in the early morning hours. Her spokesperson says the singer was sound asleep when noises prompted her to go outside and see what was going on. Apparently she was greeted by a mass of paparazzi. Her rep says despite recent reports of Winehouse's drug use, she was only startled and half asleep.
Martha Stewart is giving gift wrapping tips for the holiday season. The domestic diva demonstrated several wrapping techniques at a K-Mart in New York yesterday. To name just a couple of her tips...buy a variety of wrapping papers that will match with any ribbon and decorate gifts with photos of family members or friends. Stewart has her own Everyday Holiday line at K-Mart stores.
Tom Petty and the heartbreakers are set to headline this year's superbowl halftime show. NFL has announced the band will play at the biggest day in football on February 3 at the University of Phoenix stadium. About 140 million U.S. viewers tuned in for last years' show. The rock band released their first debut album in 1976 and they're known for hits like "Free Fallin" and "Breakdown."

Dennis Quaid's newborn twins are now recovering the hospital after a major medical mistake. Sources say the babies were accidentally given a huge dose of an anti-blood clot medication. They apparently started to bleed out but now luckily, both are stable. Zoe Grace and Thomas Boone were born through a surrogate carrier to Quaid and his wife Kimberly earlier this month.
Celebrities are continuing to support Hollywood's writers. Alicia Keys performed at yesterdays solidarity march for the Writers Guild of America. Thousands of people were at the event. "Grey's Anatomy" actress Sandra Oh could also be seen along the picket lines. It marked the 16th day of the WGA strike against the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television producers.
GQ's "Men of the Year" have been revealed. The magazine's 12 annual special edition features former President Bill Clinton, rapper Kanye West and the star of the new "James Bond" Daniel Craig. They can all be seen on 3 covers of next months issue, set to hit newsstands November 27. Also included on the list are "American Idol" judge Simon
Cowell, actor Tom Hanks and New York's Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
Broadway could lose more than 130 million dollars this holiday season. The stagehand strike in New York has shut down 27 productions for 10 already, and if it continues...the shows could miss a major peak season. Last year Broadway took in more than 134 million dollars...just in the time period from Thanksgiving to Christmas. As of now, shows are cancelled at least until November 25. Stagehands are on strike because of lack of job security and wage disputes. There are no plans for talks.
The rock band Velvet Revolver is being denied entrance into Japan. The band reportedly had to cancel an upcoming tour there because they were not given entrance Visas.. They were scheduled to perform in several Japanese cities later this month. On the band's website they said the strict Japanese immigration officials looked at each the band members backgrounds. They also apologized to their fans for disappointing them.
