"A PAINTING A DAY" at Roberson Museum and Science Center
Time :
8 : 16
American artist, Hall Groat II, offers a public program called "A Painting A Day" during the "History and Art Day" held at the Roberson Museum and Science Center on Friday, October 26, 2007. The public program is being offered at museums throughout the United States. INTERNATIONAL CONTEMPORARY FINE ART MOVEMENT "A PAINTING A DAY" Artist Philosophy There are many things to see, unwrapped gifts and free surprises. The world is fairly studded and strewn with pennies cast broadside by a generous hand. But- and this is the point- who gets excited by a mere penny? If you follow one arrow, if you crouch motionless on a bank to watch a tremulous ripple thrill on the water and are rewarded by the sight of a muskrat paddling from its den, will you count that sight a chip of copper only, and go on your rueful way? It is dire poverty indeed when a man is so malnourished and fatigued that he won't stoop to pick up a penny. But if you cultivate a healthy poverty and simplicity, so that finding a penny will literally make your day, then, since the world is in fact planted in pennies, you have with your poverty bought a lifetime of days. It is that simple. What you see is what you get. Annie Dillard from "Pilgrim at Tinker Creek." In 2006 Hall Groat II became involved with the new international Postmodern paradigm called "A Painting A Day" which originated in the United States. This new model was introduced to the world by, Duane Keiser, from Richmond, Virginia, and emerged on a global scale in 2004 through the confluence of various cutting-edge cyber elements, including popular auction sites, blogs, youtube and message boards through Google Groups. This initial model has evolved into a global view of fine art, nurtured by the Internet's public domain status and free from the influence of traditional institutions. The legendary museum "20-er Haus" in Vienna is a devasted place for more than 6 years; still waiting to be awakened from its shameful existence. Once upon a time, this steel- and concrete building was the Austrian pavillon on the World Expo in Brussels (1958) and afterwards moved to Vienna. The architect Karl Schwanzer created this outstanding piece of art, filled with light, seemingly weightless, where many outstanding artists held their exhibitions. Until 2001 it was used as a museum, but now it has been forgotten. Thank you, Vienna.

Just letting you guys know that any time you come across fascinating, yet unproven cyber-gossip about someone you've never personally met that is perpetuated by a group of names that seem to have an unusually intense interest in spreading that gossip: It's a freakin' catfight, guys. Whoever said that tracking down and exploiting people you don't know is a positive ground-breaking revolution obviously didn't know what "McCarthyism" means or the effect that it is doomed to have for the people who perpetuate its ideas. Ain't pretty. Look it up. If you have a strong, intelligent character, visit --http://therealvictimsofch.blogspot.com/2007/11/melindas-story.html

I don't usually like to make video appearances, but we've had it with the whole Melinda Mason mistaken identity thing. So take a good look -- I've researched and SEEN the actual person that the Marilyn Monroe Lynch Mob keeps mistaking my videos for, and I'm pretty sure that I won't be confused with a medium-built blonde with corrective glasses after this. You've got to let this Mason thing drop, 'cause it's totally busted (and it always HAS been, thank you). UPDATE: Like any courtroom, you have to prove beyond any and all reasonable doubt that the individual you are cracking down on has ACTUALLY COMMITTED A CRIME. "Cause I / We / He / She -- said / heard / saw / thought / etc..." is not a defense. And if you CAN'T prove it, ( REALLY prove it, as in "I have invoices / documents / actual tangible merchandise in my hand ) you can get slapped with "willful and malicious defamation of character with intent to slander," which IS a crime. YouTube or no YouTube, screen name or no screen name. And you can have your account suspended. Be careful who you "hate" with, because free speech---earns free consequences.
The Treasure Hunters - Episode 23
Time :

Diggin' in Virginia IV - Day 2, Part 2 In this episode, we finish out day 2 with a bang! By this time we have made it down to the grayish black clay that lies under the old corduroy road. Any Civil War relics coming out of this dirt have a pretty decent chance of being in great condition. You may hear a chainsaw in the background. That was the sound of the local museum cutting a cross section of the wooden road to rebuild in their Civil War display. There was some serious history preservation taking place at this dig. The fun didn't stop when the sun when down either. A bunch of treasure hunters exchanging hunt stories and rolling dice to divide the spoils of the day's relic hunt. You gotta love it! Equipment: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P41 with 1GB Memory Stick, Whites Blue and Gray and Troy Custom Detectors Shadow X2 The following video blog was filmed in historic Virginia in November of 2005. Subject: Treasure Hunting, Relic Hunting, Civil War, Metal Detecting

These small unused C&C1 vids were found in the credits videos of C&C1, in a measly resolution of 153x78. I enlarged them and put some of Frank Klepacki's music behind them. They are, in order of appearance: -an unused start of the Webrunner hacking movie, showing how the webrunners connect to cyberspace. -a video showing the unused concept of a Nod microwave weapon -An underwater battle (another unused concept) -The US president in the white house watching the news (WWN most probably means "Westwood News" :) -GDI digging up a piece of the destroyed temple of Nod and putting it in a museum. It shows the biblical scene of Kain killing Abel. .

Dr. Vinton G. Cerf, Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist Google presented 'Internet, Infinity and Beyond' in Brisbane on March 8th 2007. Alessandro Sorbello hosted the press conference prior to the presentation and produced the Film for New Realm Media. Vinton G. Cerf is vice president and chief Internet evangelist for Google. In this role, he is responsible for identifying new enabling technologies to support the development of advanced Internet-based products and services from Google. He is also an active public face for Google in the Internet world. Cerf is the former senior vice president of Technology Strategy for MCI. In this role, he helped to guide corporate strategy development from a technical perspective. Previously, he served as MCI's senior vice president of Architecture and Technology, leading a team of architects and engineers to design advanced networking frameworks, including Internet-based solutions for delivering a combination of data, information, voice and video services for business and consumer use. Widely known as one of the "Fathers of the Internet," Cerf is the co-designer of the TCP/IP protocols and the architecture of the Internet. In December 1997, President Clinton presented the U.S. National Medal of Technology to Cerf and his colleague, Robert E. Kahn, for founding and developing the Internet.
