The Royal Lichtenstein Circus - under the direction of Nick Weber - presents a reinaction of Houdini's famous and dangerous Milk Can Escape. John Hadfield performs the escape. Cast members Paul Hadfield, Joe Colon and Nina Gray assist. Shortly before this performance, the truck carrying props was in a fire, and the milk can warped just enough to make the lid difficult to put on, adding about 15 seconds to the breath holding time. |

Il progetto Royal Circus nasce nei primi mesi del 2007, quando Francesco Corallini si incontra con gli altri quattro musicisti e presenta loro alcuni suoi pezzi. Da tempo aveva composto diversi brani pop-rock in lingua inglese e aveva altre idee che voleva condividere con altri musicisti che avessero una certa esperienza. Tutti i membri avevano alle spalle anni di studi e di serate, e, quasi per caso, decisero di mettere insieme le proprie capacità ed energie per una band con pezzi propri. Lo scopo principale dei Royal Circus è quello di comporre e suonare per chi ascolta, e non solo per se stessi, condividendo l'idea per cui la musica è arte ed intrattenimento. Non è scopo della band contaminare la musica con tematiche sociali o polemiche di qualsiasi tipo, le quali col tutto il rispetto per gli ideali che le animano, ad avviso della band tendono a riportare troppo sulla terra un'arte estremamente importante e autonoma come la musica è sempre stata. A queste scelte compositive, fatte di una continua ricerca della melodia in ogni suo aspetto, si aggiunge un notevole impatto live della band, determinato in parte anche da un look definitivamente distintivo e personale.

This song is dedicated to the great genius of Charlie Chaplin. It is an imaginary speech of his mother to him, during his ascending to the top. Chaplin's mom was affected by a mental disease so she was barely able to recognize her relatives and her son as well... These words represent what she would probably have liked to tell her son at the end of her life, while he was having the real limelight, but she couldn't really say because of her disease...The lyrics wants to imagine these words been inside her heart at that time: however her mind couldn't recognize them...This is meant by the verse "there's an ocean, between my heart and my mind, but you know I care where my Little Tramp is now heading for". In a word these sentences are said here by someone who could have never really said.
