Brand New Styling was introduced in 1965. This really was a beautiful car. Note the glass covered headlamps and the clear Lens on the tail lights. These tailights didn't function well and were quickly dropped. They were years later featured again on a Chrysler, the Lebaron in 1977 and they didn't work then either and were again quickly dropped early in the production run |

Chrysler acquired this brand in 1987. 45,546 Eagle Premiers were produced in the 1988 Model Year. This was a significant increase in for auto sales for former AMC dealers. They were all very happy for this new lauch by Chrysler. :O) |
