Mr. Lee plays Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock's even smarter, mysterious older brother. Mr. Lee looks nothing like the character as described by Doyle and Paget, who depict him as a portly gentleman (so far Charles Gray, Mr. Lee's nemesis in "The Devil Rides Out" owns the role), but his performance is wonderful and it's a rare opportunity for him to show his talent for deadpan comedy. |

Christopher Lee appeared on 10. July at International Festival in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic. It was moderated by british critic Phillip Bergson.
He talked about Opera (he also sang one song from famous czech opera called Prodaná Nevěsta/ The Bartered Bride), than he talked about his relationship to Czech Republic...he was 3 times in Prague (that's capital city), and he knows very well czech history, on this video he talked about his meeting with two or three Czechoslovak pilots, who attempted the life of Heydrich.. he also knows the name of all 7 Czechoslovak pilots!!! You can hear their names at the beginning of this video... Then he talked about his films, and story of Jinnah and Rasputin... it was very interesting.. and than, he answered the questions from his fans and reporters..
He was asked, if he would return to Middle-Earth.. He said yes, but not to New Zeland.. xD we started to laugh, and he said, we didn't understand, what he wanted to say.. he said, It's most beautiful place in the world, and there are very kind people, but it's too far... And he said, he read something about he will appear in the Hobit..but he said it is NOT truth.. because there is no Saruman in the book...
