Here I present a HYPOTHESIS for the gradual evolution of the bombardier beetle's defense mechanism. This hypothesis was formulated by Mark Isaak and can be found at

The cornerstone of Intelligent Design (ID) is that some structures are Irreducibly Complex (IC) and therefore disprove evolution. They claim that since no means for their evolution exists the default hypothesis must be that they were designed. So far, every structure, system, or complex that was claimed by ID advocates to be IC has proved otherwise with evidence surfacing of their gradual evolution. If a structure is IC then it should be impossible to form a logically and scientifically sound hypothesis for its gradual evolution. Here I do just that, therefore allowing us to reject the ID hypothesis of IC on their own grounds. Talk about beating them at their own game.
In no way does a hypothesis constitute proof. It is a starting point for further scientific investigation and will most likely go through many revisions throughout its life.

CRJ900:
Stretched 86-seat version (in a single class cabin), with the GE CF-348C5 engines, 13,360 lbf (59,400 N) thrust with APR, and added leading edge slats. Max GTOW is 82,500 pounds.The airplane is loosely based on the CRJ200 series with a few major improvements. The environmental packs have a target temperature instead of a hot-cold knob. The cabin has a recirc fan which aids in cooling and heating. The engines are controlled by FADEC digital engine control instead of control cables and a fuel control unit. The cabin floor has been lowered 2 inches which gains outward visibility from the windows in the cabin as the windows become closer to eye level height. The APU is a General Electric unit which supplies much more air to the AC packs and has higher limits for starting and altitude usage. The wingspan is longer, the tail is redesigned with more span and anhedral. In typical service the CRJ-900 can cruise 8-10,000 ft higher with a slightly higher fuel burn and an average true airspeed of 450-500 knots, a significant improvement over its predecessor. The FAA Type Certificate designation of the CRJ900 is the CL-600-2D24.
Currently Mesa Airlines, SkyWest, Northwest Airlink (Mesaba Airlines), Air Canada Jazz, and Delta Connection (Comair) operate the CRJ900 in North America. The first CRJ900 (N901FJ) was actually a CRJ700 with a longer fuselage plug fore and aft. It sits in Tucson, AZ, with only the flight test and ferry time on it. The CRJ900 competes loosely with the Embraer 175, and according to Bombardier is more efficient per seat-mile. The Embraer airliners have significantly more payload, range and a roomier cabin.
In June 2007 a total of 62 CRJ900 aircraft are in airline service, with 36 further firm orders. Major operators include Mesa Airlines (38) its launch customers, SkyWest Airlines (17) and Mesaba Airlines (13).
Comair, flying as Delta Connection, has ordered 14 CRJ-900s, with at least 6 in service as of Nov 2007. These are of interest as they are in a two class configuration, with 12 first class seats and 64 coach seats. This is due to a limitation in Delta's contract with its pilots which limits its regional carriers to flying 76-seat aircraft.
Dash 8 Q400:
The de Havilland Canada Dash 8 (sometimes abbreviated as -8) is a series of twin-engined, medium range, turboprop airliners introduced by de Havilland Canada (DHC) in 1984. They are now produced by Bombardier Aerospace, which purchased DHC from Boeing in 1992. Since 1996, the aircraft have been known as the Q Series, for "quiet" due to installation of the Active Noise and Vibration Suppression (ANVS) system designed to reduce cabin noise and vibration levels to less than those of jet airliners. Over 700 Dash 8s of all models have been built. Bombardier forecasts a total production run of 1,192 units of all -8 variants through the year 2016 |

Shares of Bombardier slipped on the TSX on Monday, a day after Scandinavian Airlines System permanently stopped flying the company's Q400 turboprops.
Bombardier shares fell 19 cents, or more than 3 per cent, ending at $5.34 on the TSX.
The flag carrier of Sweden, Denmark and Norway, SAS made the decision the day after an SAS turboprop - also known as the Dash 8 Q400 - crash-landed with 44 people on board in Denmark when part of its landing gear collapsed. |

My uncle filmed this video here of the Bombardier planes re-filling over in California to fight the wildfires.
The small blips in between of the planes is about a 10 minute period.

The Bombardier 415 (formerly Canadair CL-415)is a Canadian amphibious aircraft purpose-built as a water bomber. It is the only aircraft designed and built specifically for aerial firefighting and is based on the company's CL-215. It is marketed in the USA as the Superscooper.
In 1987, following market trends towards more efficient, powerful and reliable turboprop powerplants, Canadair undertook the task of retrofitting a number of CL-215 airframes (17) with the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW123AF engines, providing a 15% power increase over the original piston engines. The retrofitted aircraft were designated CL-215T and also featured many aerodynamic and systems improvements including powered flight controls, cockpit air conditioning, as well as upgraded electrical and avionics systems.
Aside from the powerplants, the most notable external features of the CL-215T retrofit were the aerodynamic additions to the wings and empennage. Based on the success of the CL-215, the CL-415 was subsequently a "new-build" production series beginning in 1993. The 415 has an updated cockpit, aerodynamics enhancements and changes to the bomb system as well, creating a modern firefighting amphibious flying boat to detect and suppress forest fires.
Compared to the CL-215, the CL-415 has increased operating weight and speed yielding improved productivity and performance. The 415 can scoop up to 6,140 litres (1350 Imperial gal or 1,620 US gal) of water from a nearby water source, mix it with a chemical foam if desired, and drop it on a fire without having to return to base to refill its tanks. The 415 was specifically developed to provide the capability to deliver massive quantities of suppressant in quick response to fires. The aircraft is built for reliability and longevity, with use of corrosion-resistant materials. Water loads are scooped through two probes that measure 4 x 6 inches. The new CL-415GR has higher operating weights while the Bombardier 415 multi-role is available for use in a paramilitary search and rescue role and utility transport.
The "415" first flew in December of 1993 with the first deliveries in November 1994. Orders from many countries soon followed. Derived from its predecessor's nickname, it acquired the name, "Super Scooper" in light of its greatly enhanced performance as a water bomber and fire suppressant weapon. In recognition of its abilities in the dangerous but necessary tasks of fire fighting, the aircraft was awarded the prestigious Batefuegos de oro. The award citation in part read "This is the most efficient tool for the aerial combat of forest fires, key to the organization of firefighting in a large number of countries. The continuous improvements to meet the needs of forest firefighting have made these aircraft the aerial means most in demand over more than 30 years."

Driving through the Irish countryside in Preserved Ex-Galway Bombardier KE35. This bus is one of only two around today. Both are connected with the Transport Enthusiasts Club.
KE35 is restored in tour coach configuration with luxury trim.
It is powered by a Detroit 6V-71 with Allison V730 3 - speed transmission. It shares the same units as its Decker brother the KD. Differential ratios are different to the KD allowing faster cruising speed. The Last of the KEs were withdrawn in 1997.
Both KE35 and KE14 are run regularly.

Un avion construit par Bombardier a été contraint à un atterrissage d'urgence le 9 septembre 2007 sur une piste de l'aéroport d'Aalborg, au Danemark, faisant entre 5 et 11 blessés légers, selon diverses sources.
Il semble que le train d'atterrissage droit se soit brisé au contact du tarmac, provoquant l'incendie d'un moteur.
L'avion, un turbopropulseur de type Q400 de la compagnie Scandinavian Airlines System, avait décollé de l'aéroport international de Copenhague pour un bref vol intérieur à destination d'Aalborg avec 73 passagers et quatre membres d'équipage à son bord.
