This is one of the few piano arrangments I've done on Christophe Heral's beauty of a score for Ancel's Beyond Good and Evil. The arrangement takes bits from 'In The Beginning', 'Hylian Suite' and 'Redemption'. Piano is a Reidsohn and unfortunately is due for a tuning. Apologies for flatness and any mic crackles you may hear - it got a little bit too loud for the camera! Enjoy :)

First of all I'd like to bow before Christophe Heral's greatness, and would like to thank Him that he made such an awsome Soundtrack to this godlike game.
(and want to thank Michel Ancel aswell for making this game =)) I made this video for the fans of BGE and its music. First I made a 17 mins long video, then I realised, that there is a 10 mins limit in youtube, so had to cut it. This is the second part, here is the list of sounds:

The belief that �good triumphs over evil� resonates deeply in our psyche through religious, cultural, and political discourses. It is also a common theme in the entertainment media where the struggle between good and evil is frequently resolved through violence. The potential negative impact of media violence on children has long been a public concern. It is even more troubling when U.S. military violence, both in the news and in the entertainment, is often glorified as heroic and patriotic.
Children's worlds of fantasy and reality collided when our political leaders, in response to the September 11th tragedy, simplified the complex international relationships into a fight between good and evil. The Bush administration used the narrative strategically�and the news media perpetuated it with enthusiasm�pumping up patriotism and generating public support for the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq.
This video examines how the "good and evil" rhetoric, in both the entertainment and the news media, has helped children to dehumanize the enemies, justify their killing and treat the suffering of innocent civilians as necessary sacrifice. The interviews include media scholars (Robert Jenson, Robin Andersen), child psychologists (Diane Levin, Nancy Carlsson-Paige), teachers (Merrie Najimy, Brian Wright), educators (Eli Newberger and Betty Burkes), and the children themselves. |

My second expression-in-video form for my love of the masterpiece game by Ubisoft Montreal: Beyond Good & Evil. This game is a true work of art, but wasn't popular among the public. A sequel is still possible, and we must fight for that sequel!

OMG, a video that I ACTUALLY made.
Okay, before you watch this I so hope you read this blurb.
First of all, this was made on Windows Movie Maker, which sucks btw.
Second, it was made two years ago, but I didn't find it until now. I have left this untouched since it was my first attempt using Windows Movie Maker.
Third, no one makes amvs based on Beyond Good and Evil which was totally awesome, and I am so poed that we will never see BG and E 2 or 3 because no one played this great game.
Fourth, I used Linkin Park only because I have a crummy music library. That's my only excuse on that part. It was either that or Michael Jackson's Thriller.
Now to explain how I made this video.
I don't have any video capturing abilities on my PC, so I downloaded a bunch of BG&E trailers off of sites like Gamevideos to splice. Unfortunately, most had the same footage, but I managed to find some site that had the whole first part of the game, which is obvious in the video. I couldn't do much else to it. With limited knowledge of Movie Maker, I did my best with what I had.
