John Lennon & Paul McCartney are both credited as the songwriters, but Wikipedia claims that Paul McCartney actually wrote the lyrics. Other than Alison Krauss, many have covered it, including James Taylor's son - Ben Taylor, Maureen McGovern, Tim Curry, Jonathan Coulton, Hugh Masekela, Art Garfunkel, and Diana Ross. This song was also featured in the movie "The Love Affair" with Annette Bening, and Warren Beatty.
